DX Reader does not open in Windows XP, SP2, because pop-ups are blocked. How do I enable pop-ups in XP?
When you install SP2, the Pop-up Blocker is turned
on in Internet Explorer and set to the medium setting, which means it will
block most automatic pop-ups. The default settings for the pop-up blocker allow
you to see pop-ups that are opened when you click a link or button on a Web
site.
When you click to launch the DX Reader, the Pop-up
Blocker will also play a sound and show the Information Bar that the pop-up is
blocked. You can adjust these settings so that Pop-up Blocker works the way you
want it to.
To change Pop-up Blocker settings
1. Open Internet Explorer.
2. On the Tools menu, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings as in Fig 1.

3. If you want to view all pop-ups, then click on Turn Off Pop-up Blocker.
4. To allow only a particular site to display pop-ups, click on the Information Bar when it notifies you that
a pop-up has been blocked as in Fig 2. Then click on Always Allow Pop-ups From This Site…. Then close the pop-up
window and click on the link again. This will launch the DX Reader.
