What are the advantages of eCompile?

Consulting prolix volumes for a minor reference is a tedious and expensive proposition. With eCompile, you can realise your reading and research needs by compiling your very own reference book complete with concentrated information on specific subjects. The advantages of our eCompile are

  1. You purchase only the pages or chapters requisite for your research needs instead of buying or subscribing to the whole book.
  2. You can organize your collection of pages/chapter prior to compilation.
  3. You can browse through a number of titles to compile your eBook.
  4. You can create multiple reference eBooks.
  5. You can collect content in multiple sittings.
  6. You can preview your compiled eBook in the online DX Reader prior to compilation.
  7. Your self-compiled eBook will be in the Adobe eBook Reader format and can be read on the Adobe eBook Reader.
  8. All eCompile purchases are conducted through ‘My Wallet’, your personal online account. With My Wallet you save on processing costs that are imminent during eCommerce transactions.

What are the operating rules for eCompile?

Use of the eCompile facility is subject to certain eCompile rules to prevent misuse of content and unethical access.

  1. Every browse session lasts 15 minutes.
  2. You can conduct only three 'empty' browse sessions, i.e. browsing without buying a page/chapter, for the same book. If you have not effected an eCompile purchase within the three browse sessions, you will be denied access to the book for the next seven days.
  3. The number of browse sessions is directly proportional to your use of the eCompile feature in each session. This means that every time if you make an eCompile purchase, the timer is reset for another 15 minutes.
  4. An advisory prompt, two minutes prior to the close of your session, will recommend you to add the page/chapter to your eCompile book. You will be logged out as soon as your session expires.
  5. You can create three custom books at one time. If you want to create new custom books, you will have to compile any or all of your existing custom books.
