I receive a ‘Software or Network Error’ when I try to certify my Adobe Acrobat eBook Reader. How do I certify my Reader ?

Reader certification difficulties are generally encountered when you are trying to connect to the Internet behind a firewall. Please ensure that you have a proxy configured to get through the firewall and provide the Internet Explorer with the correct address to the proxy server. This is necessary because Acrobat eBook Reader uses the proxy settings in IE.

Once your proxy settings are correctly configured, simply re-launch the Reader.

An alternate possibility could be the unavailability of Adobe Server resources during certification, in which case we recommend you to retry the process at an appropriate time.
